A referral service, not a contractor

Rapid City Window Pros is a free matching service that connects homeowners with independent window installation companies serving Rapid City and the Black Hills. We do not sell, measure, order, install or warrant windows, and we are not a contractor. Using the site is free for homeowners, and you are never obligated to hire anyone. Installers may pay to receive quote requests through this site.

Installers are independent

Any company that contacts you is an independent business, responsible for its own prices, products, scheduling, workmanship, warranties, licenses, insurance and permits. We do not verify licenses, insurance or certifications, and we do not endorse any installer. Before you hire anyone:

• Ask for the company's South Dakota contractor's excise tax license number and verify it at 1-800-829-9188.
• Ask for proof of insurance.
• If your home was built before 1978, ask for EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm status.
• Ask for a City of Rapid City or City of Spearfish contractor license where the city requires one.
• Get a written contract. If you sign at home, South Dakota law generally lets you cancel until midnight of the third business day.

Information, not advice

Content on this site, including price ranges, the cost calculator, and notes on permits, insurance, tax credits and lead-safe rules, is general information. It is not legal, tax, insurance, engineering or other professional advice, and it may be out of date. Prices are typical published ranges, not quotes. We do not handle, negotiate or adjust insurance claims. Confirm anything important with your installer, your insurance agent, or the relevant city, county or state office.

Consent to contact

By submitting the quote form, you agree that we and the independent installers we match you with may contact you by phone, text or email about your request, using the details you provide. You can ask any company to stop contacting you, and you can ask us to delete your request as described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Please submit only accurate information about your own property or one you're authorized to act for. Don't submit false requests, use the site to send spam, attempt to disrupt it, or copy its content for commercial use without permission.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Rapid City Window Pros and its owner are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from work, products, advice or conduct of any installer you choose to deal with. Your agreement for any window work is solely between you and that installer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota. We may update them from time to time; the date above shows the latest version.
